The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) works to find ways to prevent and cure pulmonary hypertension and serves patients, caregivers and medical professionals through support, education, advocacy and awareness. Information technology, particularly the Internet, has made a huge contribution to raising awareness and ending the isolation of PH patients. PHA’s website, www.PHAssociation.org, is the place worldwide for the PH community to find information about PH medical and insurance resources, including finding a PH specialist. It is also the portal for the PH community to communicate with each other and get involved in the fight for a cure.
As part of the PHA team, PHA interns provide critical support that enables us to continue to provide vital services to the PH community. PHA internships offer students a structured experience working with PHA staff on substantive projects.
