Tom Lantos Pulmonary Hypertension Research and Education Act
On July 22, 2008, Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX) and Congresswoman Lois Capps (D-CA) introduced the Tom Lantos Pulmonary Hypertension Research and Education Act (H.R. 6568) in the House of Representatives. Rep. Tom Lantos, a long-time PH champion who passed away in February after a battle with cancer, was well respected in Congress and consistently placed finding a cure for PH at the top of his legislative agenda.
