Hello. My name is (your name). I live in (your city, state) and I have/my loved one has an incurable illness called pulmonary hypertension or PH.
I/my friend was diagnosed __ years ago and would like to share my/our story with this illness with your audience to educate others about the illness and its symptoms. I can share this story and show you a brief CD-ROM that illustrates the impact of PH on the body. Many people are misdiagnosed and lose precious time without treatment. The prognosis for these people is poor.
That is why early diagnosis is so important. And with increased awareness, more people can recognize that their chest pain, shortness of breath, poor circulation, and fatigue may be warning signs of pulmonary hypertension.
