K. Hedge, MD, FACC, FRCP, Clinical Assistant Professor of
Medicine at the Medical College of Ohio, is both a board certified
cardiologist and PH patient interested in raising awareness
regarding PH. On May 26, 2004, 125 physicians, patients and
other medical health professionals attended a dinner and meeting
at which a pharmacist and specialists in cardiology, pulmonary
and critical care medicine spoke. Registration for the Pulmonary
Hypertension Educational Council of Ohio (PHECO) has been
filed with the state government that these awareness and education
programs might continue.
