Navigating Pulmonary Hypertension: A Guide for the Newly Diagnosed Patient

“Navigating Pulmonary Hypertension: A Guide for Newly Diagnosed Patients” is designed to help people with pulmonary hypertension (PH), their caregivers and families learn more about diagnosis, treatment and resources for help in the first weeks, months or years after PH diagnosis. The 60-page book includes checklists, resources and questions to ask doctors. It also provides information about support networks, participating in clinical trials and daily quality of life issues.

This new publication carries on PHA’s tradition of empowering patients and caregivers through previous publications such as “Survival Guide,” “Roadmap to Hope” and “Understanding Pulmonary Hypertension.” Although PHA no longer publishes those books, “Navigating PH” covers a range of topics in ways that are accessible, practical and relevant.
