While we currently have over 140 support groups meeting across the country, this still cannot reach all those living with PH or their family, friends and caregivers. Moreover, online support group meetings are perfect for those days you don't feel like leaving the house, and really need support.

We encourage chat room visitors to discuss their health care with their doctors. These chats are intended only to provide a meeting place for patients and family members to communicate with one another and not to provide medical advice on personal health matters, which should be obtained directly from a physician. PHA will not be responsible for visitors' actions taken as a result of their interpretation of information contained in these chat rooms.

Enter PHA's Chat

PHA has a new chat tool! You only need to enter a nickname/username to access PHA's Chat. Once there you can join one of the chat rooms on the schedule to the right, talk to other users who may be logged in at the same time as you in the PHA Foyer, or choose another user to have a private chat with. The handy "HELP HOW-TO" box at the bottom will provide you how-to information for any feature when you hover over it with your mouse so check it out!

Here's a tip for making the chat tool work faster: The next time you're logged on, go into settings, choose the options tab, and set your message scroll speed to very fast.
