Combination Therapy and Transition to Oral Therapy

June 27, 2010

Treatment options for pulmonary hypertension have dramatically expanded with the availability of multiple medications. If one treatment is good, are two better? When should medication be adjusted or switched, and what evidence is available to guide therapy? This session will focus on the rationale for combination therapy, review results of studies of combination therapy and review transition to oral therapy.
