Increase PH Awareness and (Generation) Hope in the Media!

Are you a young person interested in spread Generation Hope’s message of hope and optimism while raising PH awareness in communities all over the world? This webinar will show you how working with the media will do just that. Join Kimberlee Ford, Generation Hope member, PHAware Campaign member and support group leader, and Elisabeth Williams, PHA’s Grassroots Campaigns Associate, to learn about the advantages of working with the media and how to effectively share your personal PH journey with reporters.

Elisabeth Williams, PHA's Grassroots Campaigns Associate

As PHA's Grassroots Campaigns Associate, Elisabeth works to build volunteer membership in the 435 Campaign (legislative advocacy) PHAware Campaign (media outreach) and support current Campaign members in their communications with their Members of Congress and the media. Elisabeth is available to provide resources, advice and support to anyone interested in PH advocacy or media awareness. Elisabeth also coordinates the collection of PH community stories through Our Journeys.

Kimberlee Ford, Support Group Leader, Generation Hope Member and PH Awareness Raiser

Kimberlee Ford was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary hypertension in July 2009. She is the support group leader for the Capital Breathers (Silver Spring, MD and Washington, DC) support groups. Kimberlee is very active in the PH community; a member of Generation Hope and one of the two administrators for a patient led Facebook group "PH Family." She enjoys volunteering at PHA headquarters and being an advocate for PH awareness.
