This wrap-up webinar, targeted towards participants in Newly Diagnosed Self-Study: PH Ready and Newly Diagnosed Self-Study: PH Ready Caregivers, holds helpful information for everyone living with pulmonary hypertension (PH). Dr. Jean Elwing, of the University of Cincinnati, reviews key points from both courses’ curriculums and offers tips for patients and caregivers on how to better cope with and manage PH. Guest PHA PHriends help answer questions at the end of the webinar.

Jean Elwing, MD, FCCP, completed her undergraduate and medical education at Saint Louis University. She remained at Saint Louis University and completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She received her fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. She subsequently joined the faculty in the College of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. She is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine and the Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Her clinical and research focus is pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary thromboembolic disease.
