Surviving Survivor's Guilt

Recent advances in the PH field have had an amazing impact on patients’ lives, but with those wonderful advances has come a need to address new challenges for patients living with chronic illnesses. Join Dr. Ginny Maril for an interactive discussion on survivor’s guilt. Dr. Maril will provide an overview of how PH patients with survivor’s guilt may feel, as well as strategies and resources available to help PH patients cope well through multiple losses.

Ginny Maril, PhD, is a licensed psychologist living in Los Angeles, California. Her clinical and research focus is on patients living with chronic illness and the well-being of their caregivers. Dr. Maril speaks in advocacy at local, regional, and national forums for those whose lives are impacted by chronic illnesses.
