Sidnie is a registered respiratory therapist and has worked for more than six years as a health fitness instructor with PH patients. She is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, which provides training and guidelines for medical professionals on how to use pulmonary rehabilitation for patients with chronic lung disease to restore the highest possible level of independent function by helping patients become more physically active.

In addition, Sidnie is an exercise specialist, which is a healthcare professional certified by the American College of Sports Medicine to deliver a variety of exercise assessment, training, rehabilitation, risk factor identification and lifestyle management services to individuals with or at risk for cardiovascular, pulmonary, and metabolic disease(s). Also, Sidnie was a panelist for the medical-led session titled “Treadmills, Bicycles & PAH: Questions about Exercise”, offered at the PHA 8th International Conference in Houston, Texas.
