PHA is pleased to announce and continue the Scientific Sessions
at Conference 2006! The first, groundbreaking, round of Scientific
Sessions was held at the 2004 Conference in Miami.
This portion of the conference will be oriented primarily to scientists
and clinicians involved with pulmonary hypertension. These sessions
accomplish several goals, providing a venue devoted solely to the
basic and clinical science of pulmonary hypertension and an opportunity
for investigators to discuss how to best continue the research momentum
towards finding a cure for pulmonary hypertension.

If you are interested in conducting research at the PHA Conference, please submit the following materials to the Scientific Sessions Committee of the SLC.
- Letter of request addressed to Greg Elliott, MD, Scientific Sessions Committee Chair
- Brief Description of the research project
- Current institutional IRB approval
Poster Session:
Abstracts invited in areas of:
--Clinical Science (including treatment)
--Basic Science
Five Abstracts will be selected for oral presentation.
Award will be given for top presentation in both Clinical and
Basic category.
Summary of top presentations will be published in future issue
of Advances
in Pulmonary Hypertension.
Although PHA encourages the submission of original abstracts,
abstracts submitted to PHA do not need to be original work.
We are no longer accepting abstracts. Deadline was 2/28/06.
