The Skill-Building Workshops are staff- and volunteer-led informational seminars designed to help attendees enhance or learn new skills to use in the fight for our shared cause. These sessions will take place on Friday, June 20.

Fighting Back Through Fundraising – Navigating the Roadmap

Thinking about taking your PH community involvement to the next level? PHA fundraisers help support cutting-edge research, drive patient programs and increase public understanding of PH, while allowing others the opportunity to support you and the entire PH community. In this session, learn about the various ways to get involved through individual fundraising pages, participation in endurance events, workplace fundraisers, special events and more! Our fundraising team will share resources, examples, tips and tricks to help you get started.

PHA offers the Tom Lantos Innovation in Community Service Awards as one of many mini-grant funding opportunities available to community members. Writing a grant proposal may seem daunting – but in reality it's like following a recipe. You can expect to leave this session with a greater understanding of how to find, fund and implement your PHabulous Project ideas.

Wellness Through Creative Expression

This session will provide you with ideas and inspiration to get your creativity flowing. Explore the creative possibilities with us, and feel free to bring your own writing and artwork to share with the group.
