Medical Professional Calendar

PAH is a rapidly growing field, making medical education a critical issue for those who live with PAH. The four programs of PHA's Medical Education Fund are designed to provide clinical information on PAH by nationally recognized and experienced medical leadership.

PHA is grateful to the sponsors who have provided a total of $2,000,000 in unrestricted educational grants to develop the programs.

PHA on the Road: PH Patients and Families Education Forum, A Program of the PHA Medical Education Fund
PHA on the Road: PH Patients and Families Education Forum

PHA on the Road will present information on PAH for patients and caregivers in free regional face-to-face forums. In 2009, the Forums will be held in four regions: Southern California (May 30), Central Florida (June 6), Southeast Michigan (June 13) and New England (June 13). Updated program information, speakers, Forum schedules, information about attending and online registration is available by visiting the PHA on the Road website.

Medical Professionals

PAH 09: PHA 30-City Medical Education Tour, A Program of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association Medical Education Fund
PHA 30-City Medical Education Program

The 30-City Program will offer CME- and CEU- eligible sessions on PAH diagnosis and management to physicians and other health professionals who provide care for patients with PAH, but are located in areas without nationally recognized PAH centers.

PAH 09: The PHA Preceptorship Program, A Program of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association Medical Education Fund
PHA Preceptorship Program

The Preceptorship sessions will be held across the United States in regional PAH training centers recognized for their expertise in pulmonary hypertension. Physicians from each center who specialize in pulmonary hypertension treatment will serve as the preceptors to 15 to 20 physicians at day-long CME events.

PHA Onine University, A Program of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association Medical Education Fund
PHA Online University

PHA Online University will be the destination website for comprehensive information and CME- and CEU- eligible education sessions about all facets of diagnosis, treatment and management of pulmonary hypertension. PHA Online University will include sections for PAH Experts, Specialists, Primary Care Physicians and Allied Health Care Professionals.
