We are pleased to report that a new association is currently being created in Norway. PHA is now in contact with 45 PH associations and groups around the world!
PHA Norway, the first and only group in the Scandinavian region, has begun its PH activities with a website www.PHA-NO.com. The website currently includes some information about the new group and features basic information on PH treatments, but is growing every day.
At present, the main feature is the PH ‘forum’ (a message board type community) which will allow patients in Scandinavian countries to connect with one another. The Forum is open to anyone who is interested in PH in Nordic countries, and even includes a special board for English language speakers.
The website made its debut this week (3-10-08) and there are already members registered on the boards!
This is just the first step in the birth of the new association, which will start holding support group meetings shortly. Meetings will be open not just to patients living in Norway but to those in neighboring Scandinavian countries as well.
