Consensus Statements
Developed by Medical Leaders on Various PH-Related Medical Issues

These statements on PH medical issues were developed by the Education Committee (formerly Consensus Committee) of PHA's Scientific Leadership Council (SLC) and reviewed and approved by the membership of the SLC. PHA appreciates the work of the SLC's Education Committee in preparing these documents. Originally developed by former Education Committee Chair Ivan Robbins, MD, they are now being periodically reviewed and updated by Srinivas Murali, MD, current Chair of the SLC Education Committee and also by committee members Teresa DeMarco, MD, Robert Frantz, MD, Nicholas Hill, MD, and Robert Schilz, DO, PhD. PHA also thanks the entire SLC for their close review and approval of these documents.

The role of the SLC Education Committee is to, among other tasks, determine the best current thinking of medical leaders in the field of PH on issues of importance to the treatment of PH and to make that information available to the field in the form of the conensus statements found below.
