Within the past month, DHs liver specialist ordered a CAT scan. We thought it was routine because it appeared that all of his patients were being scheduled for a CAT scan. Then after the CAT scan, they called to schedule him for an MRI on his liver. He has cardiac cirrhosis and I'm worried as usual. They didn't tell him why they were scheduling the MRI and he didn't ask. Do you guys with Liver problems see this as normal. He's never had a CAT scan or an MRI of his liver. They won't do a biopsy of his liver because of his PH. His liver numbers have been normal with his past few blood tests. Any comforting thoughts?
