The World Health Organization (WHO) class system is used in
determining whether you are eligible for certain drugs. For example,
to go on Tracleer you must a Class 3 or worse to be considered for
this treatment.

This year the Pulmonary Hypertension Association has set aside the
month of November for the purpose of creating awareness about
pulmonary hypertension, locally, nationally and internationally.

Canadian Health Authority Approves Remodulin(R) To Treat Pulmonary
Arterial Hypertension
PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- United Therapeutics Corporation (Nasdaq:
UTHR - News)
announced today that the Canadian Therapeutics Products Directorate
(TPD) has
approved Remodulin(R) (treprostinil sodium) Injection for the long-
term,
subcutaneous treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension in NYHA
Class III
and IV patients who did not respond adequately to conventional
therapy.

Experts debunk vaccine myths, urge people to get shots early this year
Oct. 3 — Flu-shot season has begun, and this year marks the first
time parents are being urged to get babies and toddlers vaccinated.
Health officials expect a record 94 million doses of the vaccine to
be available this season and are urging Americans to take advantage
of the ample supply.
