And then she got the phone call from Crystal Houser.

Houser, 21, made the call last spring from Stanford University Medical Center, where she was recuperating from her own rare heart-lung transplant surgery.

15,000 PHenomenal Hope Wristbands Sold!

Due to unexpected and nearly unbelievable popular demand, PHA has sold out of our first order of PHenomenal Hope wristbands, selling 15,000 in the course of 10 weeks. We will still be stocking the wristbands, but purchases will be delayed for 5-6 weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we never anticipated the level of success of selling these wristbands! We're proud to know that PH visibility, fundraising, and awareness has spread so very quickly and through such a fun and simple trend. We're also glad to know that education of PH has occurred at all age levels, especially among children and teens. Thank you for your work in spreading the word and thank you for your patience.
