A PH HERO REMEMBERED
Congressman Tom Lantos (Calif.), 1928-2008

cartoon by PH patient Leslie Polss saying, "Thankyou Conressman Lantos for your efforts on behalf of the PH community.."All of us at PHA are saddened by the loss of Congressman Tom Lantos who has been a great friend to the PH community. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life that is a victory. Tom emerged from the Holocaust to lead the Committee on Foreign Affairs in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the midst of a busy schedule, partnered with Representative Kevin Brady to lead the fight in Congress for support of pulmonary hypertension research and education. We will miss a staunch ally and a true friend.
