The Pulmonary Hypertension Association is coming to Houston for a weekend of education, support and empowerment. Join us for the PHA Connects: PH Community Workshop on Saturday, April 6 and the Houston O2breathe Walk on Sunday, April 7.

Workshop

This free workshop on Saturday, April 6, features interactive education sessions and opportunities to network with fellow patients, caregivers and health care professionals.

Attendees can gain insight into new developments in PH treatment and learn about managing their PH. Education sessions will be available in English and Spanish.

The event includes a kids room for children and teens ages three to 17. The workshop also includes three support groups: one for those with PH, one for parents and one for caregivers.

The workshop will take place at the Westin Houston Medical Center, hosted by Nidhy Varghese of Texas Children’s Hospital, and Sandeep Sahay of Houston Methodist Hospital.

Fundraising fun

After the workshop, join us Saturday, April 7 for the second annual Houston O2breathe Walk.

PHA’s regional O2breathe walks aim to increase PH awareness and connect local PH communities. The walks are free to attend, and funds raised benefit PHA’s programs and services.
