Community engagement has been central to the development of the PHCC initiative from the beginning. Webinars have been held informing the community of the development process and details as they became available.

 

August 7, 2013 - PHCC Overview

In this first webinar, Richard Channick, MD; Murali Chakinala, MD; Abby Poms, RRT; and Joel Wirth, MD; discuss the historical development, governance structure, and provide a broad overview of the PHCC criteria that are being considered for inclusion in the program.

 

December 11, 2013 - Criteria Overview

In this second webinar, Richard Channick, MD; Murali Chakinala, MD; Ron Oudiz, MD; Abby Poms, RRT; and Joel Wirth, MD provide an in-depth overview of the criteria for designation as a Center of Comprehensive Care (CCC) or a Regional Clinical Program (RCP).

 

June 2, 2014

In this third webinar, Erika Berman Rosenzweig, MD; Richard Channick, MD; Murali Chakinala, MD; and Michael McGoon discuss lessons learned from the PHCC pilot program, how PHA is rolling out this program, accreditation fees required to sustain the initiative and what will be provided to interested applicants in the PHCC Pre-Launch Packet.
