Meet Izzy!

Izzy Izzy

Where do you live?
I live in Newark, Calif.

How old are you?
I’m 7 years old.

When were you diagnosed with PH?
I was diagnosed when I was 3 years old.

What are your favorite things to do?
I like to visit my cousins, play video games, cook with my Ama, go to the beach with my mom and daddy, and sing!

How has your life changed since you were diagnosed with PH?
I can’t keep up with my friends like I used to. I get tired easily. I also have to take a lot of medicine.

What advice do you have for kids who have PH doctor visits?
They are not that scary and my doctor is really nice so I like going to visit him.

What message do you want to pass on to other kids who have PH?
You can still play and have fun, just take a rest when you feel that you need to.
