Dr. Chakinala and a fellow doctor at Washington
University School of Medicine discuss ECHO results
with the ECHO tech
This person helps take pictures of the heart, called an echocardiogram (ECHO). The ECHO tech will spend about 45 minutes to an hour taking these pictures.
The exercise physiologist helps you complete exercise tests to see how your lungs and heart do when you are moving. These tests include a six-minute walk, and may also include riding a bike or walking on a treadmill.
The MRI technician runs the MRI machine, which is another machine that takes pictures of your heart.
