“I think it's a wonderful opportunity to really advocate for our patients...I'd never done it before, I learned as much as I hope I was able to contribute.”

11:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Training, transportation and boxed lunch provided
Make the most of your trip to the D.C. area for Symposium by arriving in time for Advocacy Day! Take this opportunity to visit Capitol Hill and educate your Members of Congress about the needs of PH patients and the medical professionals who treat them.
Your perspective makes a difference!
Medical professionals have a unique perspective on pulmonary hypertension. You can share not just one story about the impact of PH, but many. In addition, you offer Members of Congress first-hand information about the ways that your work would benefit from PH research. By making your voice heard, you support your patients and deliver a critical message on behalf of the entire PH community.
Advocacy Day is fun, easy, and it's a strategy that works
Advocacy Day starts with a comprehensive training so you feel prepared for your visits. Lunch and transportation from the Marriott to Capitol Hill are provided. In addition to building support for the Pulmonary Hypertension Research and Diagnosis Act, this event offers a fun opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
