Research Abstracts

Guidelines for the Submission of Abstracts

Abstracts are invited from allied health professionals in all areas of practice and may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Guidelines for specific clinical situations, implementation of a process to improve patient outcomes or innovative use of technology in clinical practice
• Development or implementation of a performance improvement program
• Patient safety initiatives
• Patient satisfaction improvement initiatives
• Identification and implementation of PH nursing or AHP educational needs
• PH nursing orientation programs, role implementation or development of practice guidelines

Your abstract should be sent by e-mail by the first author to abstracts@phassociation.org. Deadline for submission is June 19, 2009 (Deadline extended from June 1).

The first author will be contacted by June 30, 2009 via e-mail regarding the presentation of your abstract. The text of the accepted abstracts will be printed in the program booklet.

Please note: this poster session is for the presentation of research by allied health professionals. Abstracts from physicians and/or clinicians will not be accepted; however, the committee will consider abstracts from corporate allied health professionals.
