We are in the front-line in the battle against pulmonary
hypertension. Working with physicians, we are the nurses, respiratory
therapists, technicians, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
who serve as the medical support network for people dealing with
this devastating disease. As part of the Pulmonary Hypertension
Association, PH Resource Network is dedicated to enhancing communication,
professional development, research and education among PH medical
professionals. Joining PH Resource Network is a great opportunity for you to make a difference in the PH community. To learn more about the Network and the work we do, please see the links below.
Pulmonary Hypertension Resource Network is an elite group of non-physician health care professionals who work to provide help to those affected by pulmonary hypertension (PH).
PH Resource Network has helped build links between nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, technicians and other allied health care professionals in the United States and abroad. PH Resource Network provides oppurtunities for PH health care professionals to exchange their experiences and dialogue with one another. PH Resource Network also provides educational opportunities through its biennial symposium, and PHA's biennial conference.
If you are not yet a member of the PH Resource Network and are a professional working in the PH community, I would like to invite you to join this great organization. Please follow the link below to join.
Thank you,
Joy Beckmann R.N, M.S.N.
Chair, PH Resource Network
There are many reasons to join this group, but the benefit
I have truly enjoyed is being able to tap into everyone's
collective knowledge with the listserv. Many changes are taking
place in this field right now and it would be difficult for even
the most seasoned veterans to have all the answers. With this,
my patients and I can benefit from everyone else's experiences
and expertise."
-- Ginger R. Ward, R.N.
"It is so reassuring to know that if I have a question
that I can't answer, I have many, many PH specialists (we nurse's,
of course!) right at my fingertips!"
-- Stephanie Harris, R.N., B.S.N.
"The information and fellowship I have found in PHRN has been
invaluable to my clinical practice. My resources have grown dramatically.
I am Proud to be a part of this valuable group."
-- Kathleen Hague, R.N., B.S.N.
"I feel privileged to be part of this dynamic group of health
professionals. Being able to regularly share our experiences
with treatment and follow up care of PH patients is a wonderful
experience. I am anxious to see PHRN grow to involve everyone
in our care giving and research community."
-- Eileen Shalit, R.N., B.N.
