Amtrak runs many trains to Washington, D.C. Please visit www.amtrak.com for more information. Get off the train at Union Station in Washington, D.C. and follow signs for the Metro. Take the red line towards Shady Grove and exit at the Gallery Place/Chinatown station. Follow signs to lower level platform and take the yellow line towards Huntington. Exit at the Crystal City station. Take the escalators from the station up to the street. Once you are at the top of the escalators, turn to the left toward the brown Metro sign. The Hyatt shuttles stop at the corner (look for the White\Red Shuttle sign) every 1/2 hour. For pick-up at the METRO, you may call the hotel directly at 703-418-1234. (view metro map)

Three major airports serve the Washington, D.C. area:

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is located 2 miles from the Crystal City Hyatt and offers direct access from throughout the United States and abroad.

  • Hotel Shuttle (5 minutes): The Crystal City Hyatt provides a courtesy shuttle to and from Reagan National Airport from 5:30 am to 12:30 am. Pick up is every 1/2 hour. Please call the hotel directly for pick up at 703-418-1234; there are courtesy phones in the baggage area. The vans are blue with white lettering.
  • By Car/Taxi (5 minutes): Follow signs to Crystal City. Take the Rt. 1 South exit and get in the left hand lane. Turn left at first light, 27th Street, the hotel is on the left.  Please visit http://www.metwashairports.com/National/carrental.htm for more information on car rentals.
  • By Metro (5 minutes): The airport is directly accessible by Metro. Follow signs to the metro in the airport. Take the yellow line towards Mt. Vernon Square or blue line towards Largo Town Center. Exit at the Crystal City Station. Take the escalators from the station up to the street. Once you are at the top of the escalators, turn to the left toward the brown Metro sign. Dulles International Airport (IAD) is located 28 miles from the Crystal City Hyatt and offers direct access from throughout the United States and abroad.

  • By Car/Taxi (40 minutes): Take the Dulles Toll Road East approximately 16.6 miles to I-66 East. Take I-66 East approximately 7.3 miles to exit 75 (Rt. 110 South). Go approximately 3 miles. Rt. 110 South turns into Rt. 1 South (Jefferson Davis Hwy). Take Rt. 1 South (Jefferson Davis Hwy) to 4th traffic light (27th Street). Turn left at 27th Street, hotel will be on the left.   • By Metro (1 hour): The airport is Metro-accessible via a shuttle. Please go to http://www.metwashairports.com/Dulles/ground.htm for more information on how to use the shuttle service to the Metro. Once at the Metro, take the blue line towards Franconia, exiting at the Crystal City Station. Take the escalators from the station up to the street. Once you are at the top of the escalators, turn to the left toward the brown Metro sign. The Hyatt shuttles stop at the corner (look for the White\Red Shuttle sign) every 1/2 hour. Baltimore International Airport (BWI) is located 36 miles from the Crystal City Hyatt and offers direct access from throughout the United States and abroad.

  • By Car/Taxi (1 hour): Take I-95 South over the Wilson Bridge into Virginia. Exit #177B (first exit off bridge), and follow signs to Rt. 1 North. Travel approximately 4 miles: when you see signs for Reagan National Airport get into the right hand lane. Turn right onto 27th street, hotel is on the left.   • By Metro (1.5 hours): The airport is Metro-accessible via the MARC commuter train or Amtrak. Please visit the airport website http://www.bwiairport.com/ and click on Ground Transportation for more information. If you take the train, get off at Union Station in Washington, D.C. and follow signs for the Metro. Take the red line towards Shady Grove and exit at the Gallery Place/China town station. Transfer to the yellow line on the lower platform, headed toward Huntington. Exit at the Crystal City Station. Take the escalators from the station up to the street. Once you are at the top of the escalators, turn to the left toward the brown Metro sign. The Hyatt shuttles stop at the corner (look for the White\Red Shuttle sign) every 1/2 hour.
