PHA MEDICAL EDUCATION FUND

Established in 2008, this fund provides educational information on PAH by nationally recognized and experienced medical leadership. PAH is a rapidly growing field, making medical education a critical issue for those impacted by the disease. The fund supports both patient and medical education programming.

Patients and Caregivers

PHA on the Road

Through these day-long regional forums, patients and families have an opportunity to connect with each other and with healthcare professionals, as they learn strategies for successfully managing PAH and hear about recent developments toward a cure.

Medical Professionals

PHA Online University
Medical professionals can find 24/7 medical education in pulmonary hypertension. Healthcare providers can participate in free online CME/CE activities, read current and past issues of Advances in Pulmonary Hypertension, connect with colleagues through the site’s discussion forums, and find a wealth of other PHA resources, all with just the click of a mouse.

30-City Program
Throughout the year, PHA visits areas without nationally recognized PAH centers, providing physicians and other healthcare professionals with the latest information on the diagnosis and management of PAH.

Preceptorship Program

The Preceptorship Program is held at regional PAH training centers recognized for their expertise in pulmonary hypertension. Physicians from each center who specialize in pulmonary hypertension treatment serve as faculty at these day-long educational programs.

The programs of the PHA Medical Education Fund are made possible through unrestricted educational grants from our sponsors:
