MEDICAL EDUCATION AT THE PULMONARY HYPERTENSION ASSOCIATION

PHA is committed to providing clinicians and researchers in the field with the most current information on pulmonary hypertension and raising awareness about this challenging disease. One way that we do this is through our medical education programming.

PHA Medical Education Fund
Established in 2009, this fund provides clinical information on PAH by nationally recognized and experienced medical leadership. Currently, the fund supports three medical education initiatives – PHA Online University, PHA Preceptorship Program, PHA Medical Education On-Demand Program – as well as two patient education initiatives – PHA Classroom and PHA on the Road.

PH Professional Network (formerly PH Resource Network) Symposium
Hosted by the PHPN, this biennial symposium brings together nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals to learn about the latest developments in the field.

Building Medical Education in PH Program
An exclusive benefit for PHCR and PH Professional Network members and their affiliate PH centers, the Building Medical Education in PH program helps promote continuing education events, while increasing awareness of the diverse programs offered by PHA.

International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions
The largest meeting of PH patients, families, caregivers and PH-treating medical professionals in the world provides education, networking opportunities and, above all, hope for a cure.
