DR. ROBYN J. BARST PEDIATRIC PH RESEARCH AND MENTORING FUND

Grants from the Barst Fund will provide support for a one year mentorship for young clinicians and researchers in the field of pediatric PAH. Grantees will be expected to engage with an experienced mentor who is able to provide oversight and training in pediatric PAH treatment, management and research. In addition to the mentor component, it is expected that grantees will complete a proof of concept research project. These novel projects combined with experienced mentor collaboration are expected to significantly advance the grantee's knowledge, and ultimately the field, of pediatric PAH.

As of 2013, PHA has supported 2 researchers through this fund and we hope to continue to further our understanding of pediatric PH by continuing to support such novel efforts in the field. Learn more about the development of the Barst Fund
