Provide Feedback to Your Specialty Pharmacy

The complex treatment of pulmonary hypertension requires a dedicated partnership from everyone involved. The Pulmonary Hypertension Association/Caring Voice Coalition Specialty Pharmacy Advisory Board aims to learn about patients’ experiences with their specialty pharmacies in order to identify trends and best practices in the specialty pharmacy field.
This form is not for emergencies or case management. Patients are still encouraged to contact the patient support line for their specialty pharmacy regarding any urgent issues they might have. Due to the high volume of submissions, patients who complete the form may not receive an individual response from their specialty pharmacy.

The Specialty Pharmacy Advisory Board (SPAB) is a unique partnership between the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) and the Caring Voice Coalition (CVC). It developed from an understanding that specialty pharmacy response to patients and their families has a strong impact on patient and caregiver quality of life.

The Pulmonary Hypertension Association and the Caring Voice Coalition have invited several patients, caregivers, nurses and physicians to sit on the Advisory Board, along with representatives of the Specialty Pharmacies active in the PH field and the pharmaceutical companies with whom they contract to deliver PH drugs and services. PHA and CVC feel that this combination of participants offers the best opportunity to optimize service to PH patients and their caregivers.

When patients, caregivers or medical professionals submit a concern or a compliment to the review board, this information will be used in three ways:

- The comment will join a database of information to help the Advisory Board understand any trends that need to be addressed. For example, if there are a considerable number of reports of a lack of helpful customer service by phone representatives at a particular specialty pharmacy, that trend may be presented to the specialty pharmacy to improve its training.

- If you choose to share your name and contact information, your specialty pharmacy may be able to work with you directly to resolve your concern. If you do not choose to share contact information, your anonymous comment will still be reviewed and considered by the Advisory Board.

- Any submitted comments, with or without identifying information, may be shared with the Advisory Board with the goal of recognizing or improving quality of service.
