Missed, But Not Forgotten....
I'm sorry to report that the St. Louis PHA Support Group Leader, Misty Jackson has lost her hard-fought battle with PH on Monday June 8, 2009. Because of the sudden notice and speed with which everything is happening, we've chosen to take up a collection and make a donation to PHA in Misty's name. If you choose to make a donation, make the check out to PHA and in the memo line, add "Memory of Misty Jackson". Mail it to Amanda at the address listed above. I'll send them into PHA. Here is a link to her obituary at the local funeral home: http://obit.baue.com/obitdisplay.html?id=678818&listing=Current
It's been a tough summer, as we also lost Shanda Robertson. Many of you knew her from a few meetings that she & her mother were able to attend. She passed in early July and her family will hold a 'Celebration of Life' ceremony on September 13, 2009 @ 2pm. It will be at the St. Joseph Chapel, in St. Mary's High School, 4701 S. Grand, St. Louis, MO 63111. Everyone is asked to wear their Cardinals gear or the color red in support of Shanda's love for the hometeam. There will be a luncheon afterwards, as well as a mini health-fair. If you are interested in attending, please let me know if you'll be attending by September 1.
Ms Jane Papp passed Saturday August 1, 2009 after a long hard fought battle with Pulmonary Hypertension. Donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
