The third quarterly meeting for 2007 of the CFSG was held at the Celebration Hotel in Celebration, Florida on Saturday, September 15. The meeting was well attended with two first time PH patient attendees and their spouses. The attendees were patients, their caregivers, therapeutic specialists, company sales representatives and healthcare professionals. My wife and medical billing expert, Shelly spoke on the subject of billing errors, insurance benefit denials and approvals of care and presented several examples common billing errors and how to get them corrected.
Following Shelly’s presentation, attendees’ questions were answered and the meeting closed with a bouquet of flowers given to Shelly from Melynda Webb of Accredo Therapeutics, Inc. Since we have relocated to Charleston, SC we bid everyone a sincere goodbye and wish all our CFSG friends well.
The next scheduled quarterly meeting is scheduled for December 15th, 2007. Please watch your email and the good old USPS “snail” mail for updates. It was my pleasure to coordinate these meetings and get to know all who have attended.
