Three major airports serve the Washington, D.C. area:

  • Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is located 7.5 miles from the Marriott Wardman Park (20 minutes by car, 50 minutes by Metro).
    • Metro Directions (two options):
      • Take the Yellow Line in the direction of Ft. Totten or Mt. Vernon Square. At Gallery Place/Chinatown, transfer to the Red Line in the direction of Shady Grove. Exit at Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan. Walk to the Marriott Wardman Park.
      • Take the Blue Line in the direction of Largo Town Center. At Metro Center, transfer to the Red Line in the direction of Shady Grove. Exit at Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan. Walk to the Marriott Wardman Park.
  • Dulles International Airport (IAD) is located 29 miles from the Marriott Wardman Park (46 minutes by car). This airport is not Metro-accessible, but it is a ten-minute drive from the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station.
    • Metro Directions: Upon reaching Wiehle-Reston East, take the Silver Line in the direction of Largo Town Center. At Metro Center, transfer to the Red Line in the direction of Shady Grove. Exit at Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan. Walk to the Marriott Wardman Park.
  • Baltimore International Airport (BWI) is located 39 miles from the Marriott Wardman Park (1 hour by car). This airport is not Metro-accessible, but the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) operates BWI Express Metro bus service to transport passengers between the airport and the Greenbelt Metro station.

    • Metro Directions: Upon reaching Greenbelt Station, take the Green Line in the direction of Branch Ave. At Fort Totten, transfer to the Red Line in the direction of Shady Grove. Exit at Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan. Walk to the Marriott Wardman Park.

By Car

The on-site parking fees are $48/day for on-site parking, and $55/day for valet parking.

By Train

Amtrak runs many trains to Union Station in Washington, D.C. Upon arrival, either follow signs for the Metro (20 minutes) or take a taxi from the taxi stand at the main station entrance (30 minutes). Visit Amtrak

  • Metro Directions: Take the Red Line from Union Station in the direction of Shady Grove. Exit at Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan. Walk to the Marriott Wardman Park.

Marriott Wardman Park offers easy access to the Metro and is just a cab ride away from a wide array of museums, monuments and cultural institutions our nation’s capital has to offer. Attendees can stroll by the White House, take in a show at the Kennedy Center or view the city from the top of the Washington Monument.
