PHA Board Chair, Jack Stibbs, and his 13 year-old daughter, Emily, testified before the House Labor-HHS Appropriations Subcommittee. This marks the third year in a row that PHA has been selected from among thousands of health organizations nationally to represent the American health community before Congress.

Jack and Emily shared their family’s story with the U.S. representatives present. Emily is a PH patient and was diagnosed when she was still in elementary school. Jack and Emily’s mother, Marcia, have since taken on the cause of PH and have hosted a series of successful golf tournaments to raise money and awareness in Texas. This testimony marks the Stibbs’ latest contribution to raising PH awareness among the nation’s top decision-makers.
