Who
You, your family and friends, and your elected officials. No matter where you live, PHA needs your help to make this event a success.
How You Can Help
Invite your elected officials!
PHA’s Congressional Luncheon is a way to educate your elected officials on PH; to say “thank you!” to those who contributed to the passage of the Tom Lantos PH Research and Education Act of 2008 in the House of Representatives; and to make progress toward passage in the Senate. Wherever you live, take a moment to contact your U.S. senators and representative and invite them to attend. View guidelines and a sample invitation script to use when calling your Members of Congress.
Attend the event!
Enjoy lunch while learning about PH and the Tom Lantos PH Research and Education Act of 2008 from a series of speakers directly impacted by pulmonary hypertension.
Congressional luncheons like PHA’s are most successful when both Members of Congress and their constituents attend. To confirm your attendance, RSVP to Katie Kroner at 301-565-3004 X749 or advocacy@PHAssociation.org.
Engage your friends and family!
They’re all part of the PH community, after all. Ask them to invite their elected officials.
