Congressional Luncheon 2009

PHA needs YOUR help to make our 6th Annual Congressional Luncheon a success!

On the Capital Steps With Senator Burr

Wednesday, November 18
12:00 p.m. ET
Members Room

Library of Congress

There are three ways you can help.

I’m here today because I want Members of Congress to be aware of this disease and to push the Tom Lantos bill forward so that we can get more education out there for the general public and more doctors to be aware of what this disease is all about…I enjoyed my day! This is my first time lobbying, and this won’t be my last.
-Medeta Belke on her experience at PHA’s 2008 Congressional Luncheon

A constituent invitation makes a Member of Congress many times more likely to attend the Congressional Luncheon. At the event, Members will receive up-to-the-minute information on pulmonary hypertension and the Tom Lantos PH Research and Education Act of 2009. They'll also hear directly from patients about the impact of PH on their lives.
