Blogging Day Tips and Suggestions

  • It may say “blogging” in the title, but blogging day is all-inclusive, so get creative. Send us links to your Carepage, PHCentral diary, social networking profile, or personal web page. Or, just send us your PH story. We’ll include it all!
  • If you moderate a PH group or cause, be sure to update it with information about PH Awareness Blogging day and then post there on November 18. Remember to include a link to www.PHAssociation.org in your post.
  • Ready to take it one step further? Consider blogging every day during the month of November as a way to raise awareness about the day-to-day challenges of living with PH.
  • Be personal! Mention your connection to PH, whether you are a patient, friend, family member or medical professional.
  • Not sure what to post?  Something simple can go a long way.  “November is Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month.  Pulmonary hypertension is high blood pressure between the heart and the lungs.  Because its symptoms are similar to asthma, it is often misdiagnosed, or undiagnosed. PH is deadly and incurable, but new treatments and new research are creating hope. Visit www.PHAssociation.org.”
  • Why not e-mail your PH story to your family and friends…you can even make it part of a Web of Friends Campaign.
  • Brighten your blog with images from PHA -- Periwinkle PH Ribbon, “Help Cure PH" Heart, symptoms banner image and more. Download PHA images here
  • Start a blog! Sites like Blogspot, Blogger and WordPress make creating and updating your blog easy, and they’re just a few of the available options.
