Things I Found on PHA's Website
Online Advocacy Tool
This week, my keyword is Advocacy. We all want to make our voices heard on PH issues. We all want to make the media and our elected officials at every level aware of PH issuesand to personalize this message by making sure those officials and media representatives hear from individuals dealing with PH.
This tool makes it easier to make those connections. Just enter your zip code or click on your state to see contact information for your state's representatives. I clicked on the Issues and Legislation tab and then on the Capitol Hill Basics link and found tips for phoning, emailing and writing your representatives.
What can also be very useful is the Media Guide. Click on that tab, then enter your zip code to see contact information for newspapers, magazines, TV and radio stations. Click on your state on the map to see the listings for the whole state. You can find contact information for nearly anyone in the U.S. media or government with this tool.

I welcome suggestions! Please send them to me at pha@PHAssociation.org. If you have a particular interest or need for info on any PH-related topic, please suggest it to me and I'll locate the resources on the site. If I can't locate information for your topic, I'll know what to suggest for additions to the website. If you have found something on the website to be particularly helpful please suggest that as well.
