Things I Found on PHA's Website
Consensus Statements
I have two words to start with: Consensus Statements.
You will be amazed at the amount of information packed into those words. The Consensus statements were developed by the Education Committee (formerly Consensus Committee) of PHA's Scientific Leadership Council (SLC) and reviewed and approved by the membership of the SLC.
The main page links to 11 statements: from "Genetic Testing and Counseling for Idiopathic and Familial Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension" to "Acute Vasodilator Testing," and somewhere in the middle you will find "Travel Recommendations for Patients with PAH" and "Recommendations on Over-the-Counter Medications in Patients with PAH."
I highly recommend these consensus statements. They are easy to read and packed full of current information. They could give you ideas and wording of what to ask about when you see your PH specialist. They could also help provide your friends and family with knowledge about PH.
If there are terms in the statements you are not familiar with, don't forget about the PH Glossary.

I welcome suggestions! Please send them to me at pha@PHAssociation.org. If you have a particular interest or need for info on any PH-related topic, please suggest it to me and I'll locate the resources on the site. If I can't locate information for your topic, I'll know what to suggest for additions to the website. If you have found something on the website to be particularly helpful please suggest that as well.
