Things I Found on PHA's Website
Glossary
This week I wanted to find something especially for members of our community who are new to PH. I remembered past discussions on the list where people asked the meaning of terms others had used. I remembered people needing a definition for “CREST syndrome”, for “mean PAP”, for “INR level” and “pulmonary thromboendarterectomy”. There are so many new terms to learn.
What I found this week is the PH Glossary. It is easy to use and includes well over 100 terms and phrases you might encounter in discussions and articles about PH. Since it is excerpted from the Patient's Survival Guide, that is stated at the top of the page along with a handy link to acquire the book itself. There may be terms you cannot find on the list so the glossary page includes links for two useful sites for further research.

I welcome suggestions! Please send them to me at pha@PHAssociation.org. If you have a particular interest or need for info on any PH-related topic, please suggest it to me and I'll locate the resources on the site. If I can't locate information for your topic, I'll know what to suggest for additions to the website. If you have found something on the website to be particularly helpful please suggest that as well.
