Personal Online Fundraising Pages

Here’s an Opportunity to Do Something for the Cause from the Chair You’re Sitting In!

Expanding on our popular Circle of Friends letter-writing program, we’re harnessing the power of the Internet to allow you to take your story across the country in just minutes. With Firstgiving you can easily set up a personal online fundraising page and raise awareness at the same time. Just tell your PH story, add a picture, and voila! Your page is ready to be emailed to your family and friends. It’s that easy!

In addition to the tangible impact of these efforts, they also provide tremendous solace to the online campaigners. Here’s what Merle Reeseman said about her campaign: "This is awesome, I've got tears in my eyes. I really didn't think they would give sooo much. I truly am amazed. I have great friends." Creating a personal fundraising page is as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4!

  1. Go to www.firstgiving.com/PHAssociation and click “Get Started” at the bottom of the page.
  2. You will see upcoming PHA events listed. You can click one to make your personal fundraising page connected to a specific event, or scroll to the bottom of the page where it asks “What kind of page would you like to create?” Make your selection from the dropdown list, and click “Continue.”
  3. Follow the prompts to register for Firstgiving and to customize your page.
  4. Once you are happy with your page, send an email to your friends and family members with the link to your page and encourage them to give.
