Employee Fund Drives and Matching Gifts

From the Combined Federal Campaign and other employer charitable fund drives, there are many ways that you can support PHA in your workplace. Also, many employers will double your impact by matching your donations. (also visit Our Workplace Has a Heart)

Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
The Combined Federal Campaign is open to federal employees, postal employees and members of the armed forces.

To donate to PHA write PHA's designation code, #12097, on your donor card. Also, Pass along PHA’s designation code to any friends or family who are federal employees, postal workers or members of the armed forces (retired or active). Learn more about the Combined Federal Campaign

Matching Gift Programs
Many employers will match the charitable contributions of their employees. Check with your human resources representative about your company's policies and procedures on matching employee gifts to charitable organizations.

Or you can contact Andrew at 301-565-3004 x116 or giving@PHAssociation.org to ask about matching gifts. PHA can search to see if your company matches gifts and what steps need to be taken next.

Other Employer Charitable Fund Drives
Please consider making a gift to PHA through your employer’s charitable fund drive. Doing so can pay long-term dividends in two ways. First, your company may add a matching gift to accompany yours. Second, the policy at many companies is to add a charity to the "approved" list for employee giving if one or more employees ask to make a gift to that charity. Being on the approved list often means other employees will see our name and decide to support PHA, too.

If your company’s United Way campaign or other charitable fund drive gives you a “donor choice” or write-in option, please take advantage of that opportunity to give. If your company restricts giving to a list of "approved" charities, please ask your human resources department how you can add us to that list. We have found that merely having an employee ask to include his or her special charity to the list is usually all it takes. If you would like to be PHA's representative at your workplace, please contact Andrew at giving@PHAssociation.org or 301-565-3004 x116 for brochures and fact sheets.
