Pulmonary arterial hypertension is what my boyfriend was diagnosed with in November, 2005. He passed away on August 13, 2007. He was 35. His name was Joseph Briscoe. He will live in my heart forever and not a day goes by that he is not missed. He was loved by everyone.

I feel fortunate to have been his girlfriend. He was my best friend and even though we fought a lot we always just that that, no matter what, we loved each other and that was strong enough to keep us going. He is tattooed on my heart and soul, and he will never be forgotten. I love you Joel, forever and always.
