BUILDING MEDICAL EDUCATION IN PH
Partner with PHA to Advance Understanding of PH
The Pulmonary Hypertension Association’s Building Medical Education in PH program develops partnerships between medical professionals who are planning PH educational events and PHA and want to take advantage of PHA's resources to build their events. This partnership between PHA and medical education events will increase the event's visibility, resources and prestige.
As an exclusive benefit for members of PH Clinicians and Researchers (PHCR) and PH Professional Network (PHPN) (formerly PH Resource Network) and their affiliate PH centers, this program promotes educational events while increasing awareness of the diverse resources available through PHA.
Benefits of the Building Medical Education in PH Program
Use PHA’s BME program to help promote your PH event. As your partner in the planning process, PHA will provide:
- One-time use of PHA’s mailing list of medical professionals
- Advertising support through PHA’s publications and online community
- Complimentary print and multimedia educational materials for distribution to attendees
- PHA staff to exhibit and/or speak at event (pending invitation and availability)
Requirements for Participating in the PHA BME Program
In order to have your event considered for the BME program, it must meet the following criteria:
- Medical Education provided by a proven expert(s) in PH
- At least one medical provider connected to the event must belong to a PHA medical membership network (PH Clinicians and Researchers (PHCR) or PH Professional Network (PHPN))
- There must be a component of medical education for medical professionals
- CME is not required at BME programs
Please note that PHA will not assist with funding BME events or provide a tax-ID number for BME programs.
All BME partnerships are subject to approval by PHA's medical leadership.

"Utilizing the Building Medical Education in PH program was a terrific way for us to promote our local education conference by reaching out to as many people as possible… Having PHA behind our program was a great way to enhance the quality and legitimacy of the event. It was truly a mutually beneficial collaboration!”
