Through online registration and personal fundraising pages

Now more than ever, online fundraising tools are becoming an integral part of non-profit event fundraising. Through our online tool, Firstgiving, PHA offers you the opportunity to create free online event registration as well as personal fundraising pages, which your event registrants can use to spread the word about your event, raise PH awareness and seek additional donations.

Incorporate these opportunities as part of your event planning timeline in three steps!

  1. Learn how online registration works to maximize event outreach and fundraising
  2. To setup your online event registration form contact PHA
  3. Get inspiration from other events that reached and even exceeded their goals through online fundraising

Inspiring Success Stories

Driving for a cure

Minnesota PHun Walk for a Cure, 2007

In their first year, planners of the Minnesota PHun Walk for a Cure used Firstgiving to register 75 walkers, who created more than 20 fundraising pages, raising more than $13,000 through online donations alone!

Funwalk finish line

4th Annual New York Fun Walk
for PH, 2008

“We've got 17 days left before our 4th Annual Walk kicks off and we've already got over 200 registered walkers with more coming in every day… I want to share the story of one family, who lost their two year old to PH and just recently had their five year old diagnosed. [The family] has over 60 people coming to the walk and a lot of them are coming from New Jersey! Collectively, they have raised over $8,000 using a Firstgiving website: This definitely attests to the power of donating through the web.”

- Joanne Schmidt, organizer of the New York Fun Walk for PH
