Dr. Greg Elliott is Professor of Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine and Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. He completed his MD at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. His internship, residency, and Chief Medical Residency were also completed at the University of Maryland Hospitals. His pulmonary fellowship was completed at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Diseases. He has devoted his professional career to understanding pulmonary vascular diseases. His research has focused upon clinical, physiologic, and genetic aspects of pulmonary hypertension and thromboembolism.

Dr. Elliott is a past chair and current member of the PHA Scientific Leadership Council, and he has also served as chair of the Genetics Section for the Third World Organization Conference on Pulmonary Hypertension.

Dr. Elliott lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife Anne. Their three grown children, two sons and a daughter live in Salt Lake City and Denver, and are pursuing careers in medicine, business and nursing.
