PHA Board of Trustees

Harry J. Olson

deceased (2012)
Sebring, Fl.
Board Emeritus

Harry Olson lived in Sebring, Fla., with his wife Dorothy - who was a long time PH survivor. Harry worked in Industrial Air-conditioning as a design and service representative. He retired in 1980 moving from Indiana to Florida when Dorothy was diagnosed with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.

Both Harry and Dorothy were original founders of UPAPH/PHA with Harry serving on the Board until 1997. Along with caregiver activities, he was still actively involved and attended board meetings until his passing. Harry served in various capacities at all PH conferences and received the first PHA Caregiver Award in 1998. Harry designed and commissioned the PHA "Kitchen Table" banner that was presented to PHA at the 2000 Conference.
