Patient story

Elaine Mullens

Hi, my name is Elaine. I am a PH person. I was told in September of 2008. I am so scared. I live in a very small town. No one has heard about PH. I am taking Epoprostenol Sodium by IV. I also am taking Klor-Con, Digoxin, Warfarin and Furosemide. I am not doing too well, so on Monday I started Revatio. I am having really bad side-effects from this new medicine.

I am lucky to have a wonderful husband. We have been married for 37 years. I have three grown sons and two young grandsons, who I want to see grow up.

I have no one to talk to about my PH. I have lost 200 lbs in five years, from being sick. I also have Lupus. Please help me get through this. I need a friend.
